{"id":2082,"date":"2017-08-10T02:26:15","date_gmt":"2017-08-10T02:26:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mwsdev1.com.au\/wacd\/?post_type=portfolio&#038;p=2082"},"modified":"2021-06-15T06:04:26","modified_gmt":"2021-06-15T06:04:26","slug":"a-dream-come-true","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mwsdev1.com.au\/wacd\/a-dream-come-true\/","title":{"rendered":"A Dream Come True"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Talented Artist Kelly, lives with Spinal Muscular Atrophy and required a wheelchair accessible vehicle for medical appointments and community access. \u00a0WA Charity Direct assisted by providing a portion of the funds for Kelly to finalise the purchase of her own vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Read message of thanks:<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>My Van<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>Words can not express how much I would like to thank WA Charity Direct for helping me get my van.<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>The feeling that I am the proud owner of my first car ever is overwhelming, I still open my front door at home to make sure my car is still there!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>I am now not having to wait for a taxi in the cold or in the heat, it&#8217;s absolutely wonderful feeling to be independent and not have to go through booking a taxi, making sure I have the money, waiting for the taxi to arrive etc. <\/em><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><em>All I do now is jump in the car with my carer and off we go for an Adventure! I want to thank again WA Charity Direct for helping me achieve my dream and owning my first car!
