WA Charity Direct is about connecting and assisting the West Australian Community on all levels. Under the guidance of WA Charity Direct\u2019s Ambassador, Perth Wildcats<\/a> Captain Damian Martin, students from St Stephen\u2019s School<\/a> delivered on these philanthropic principles.<\/p>\n

WA Charity Direct supported a student committee from St Stephen\u2019s School to source, review and donate to local community members. Working closely with Damian, the students identified 3 terrific groups, which WA Charity Direct is thrilled to financially support.<\/p>\n

Rocky Bay Duncraig<\/a><\/strong>
\nRocky Bay is a leading provider of disability services, offering choice and independence to thousands of people of all ages living with disability in Western Australia.<\/p>\n

The WACD School Program supported 7 clients of Rocky Bay Duncraig by supplying each with iPads loaded with specific communication software. The communicative tool will allow the recipients to engage and better express their wants and needs with their families, peers & support person.<\/p>\n

Nathan Garcia<\/a><\/strong>
\nNathan is a young boy born with 2 rare life threatening conditions, sadly with no cure. Nathan is unable to walk far and requires a wheelchair to get around. The WACD School Program purchased a lightweight wheelchair that Nathan can rely on to meet the demands of his numerous medical appointments & school commitments.<\/p>\n

Vincent\u2019s Project for the Homeless<\/a><\/strong>
\nAn inspirational young boy from Sorrento was so moved by the plight of homeless people he noticed around Perth, that he started his own Charity at the age of 7.<\/p>\n

Vincent\u2019s Project for the Homeless provides packs of toiletries and other comfort items to the homeless people of Perth. WACD School Program funded 250 packs to be distributed around the metropolitan area in 2018. The students from St Stephen\u2019s will assist Vincent in the assembling and distribution of the packs.<\/p>\n
