Academic Clinics for Exceptional Students (ACES), is a not-for-profit organisation providing specialist education services to children with learning disorders.
Increasing demand from the community has led to rapid expansion, ACES currently provides specialist intervention to more than 120 students per week.
WA Charity Direct was pleased to assist with this expansion and funded 5 additional computers. The additional computers will allow ACES to expand their services to provide intervention to a greater number of students with learning disorders.
Please read the Letter of Thanks received from ACES.
Tylar Woodland and her Family were referred to WA Charity Direct through Therapy Focus. Little Tylar was born with several physical disabilities and relies on her Parents for full time care. Tylar requires her wheelchair for all mobility and as a result, the Family requires a wheelchair accessible vehicle. WA Charity Direct contributed funds towards the purchase and fit out of an appropriate vehicle. The vehicle allows the Parents to safely transport Tylar to her numerous medical appointments, school and greater access to the community.
