Bruce Scorer lives in regional Western Australia and requires prescription glasses permanently to assist with both long and short vision.  Financially Bruce was unable to purchase the stronger lenses, so WA Charity Direct assisted by purchasing 2 pairs of spectacles.  Bruce will now be able to get on with his everyday activities.

A pregnant Mum and her young family had to make a quick exit from the Eastern States due to domestic violence back to the safety of her Foster Family in WA. During this time, the 5th child was born premature at 27 weeks and had to spend a lengthy period in the special care nursery at King Edward Memorial Hospital.

Through our network at KEMH, WA Charity Direct learnt of this desperate situation and were only pleased to  help out in some way.  WA Charity Direct funded the relocation of the Family’s furniture,  toys and clothes.  Now the Family can focus on resettling into their old home town and feel a sense of normalcy surrounded by their  much loved belongings.
