Comments Off on Brown Family

Deegan Brown was born with Spastic Diplegia Cerebral Palsy and is unable to walk and completely relies on his devoted Mum, Melanie.  In a normal week, Deegan’s condition requires numerous therapy and medical appointments.  Melanie’s vehicle was no longer coping with the amount of travel required to support Deegan’s needs.

After selling the old vehicle, WA Charity Direct assisted Melanie and Deegan  by providing the remaining funds to purchase a suitable vehicle.  Melanie is most grateful for our assistance – read  thank you note.

Comments Off on Sharon Pattison

Sharon Pattison was referred to WA Charity Direct through the MS Society.  Sharon has Multiple Sclerosis and due to her balance being affected, Sharon has suffered some heavy falls, which has lead to a degree of spinal damage requiring surgery.

Sharon now lives with spinal pain and must be very careful when bending.  WA Charity Direct purchased a medical grade, mechanical bed for Sharon, which allows her to manage her pain and safely transfer in and out of bed.
